Walton Historic Group visit the Chapel

The Chapel had a visit from the Walton Historic group, seventeen of them made it over, all very nice friendly, knowledgeable people with a genuine interest in the past, and the part our Chapel has played in encouraging religious freedom throughout the years, they were particularly pleased when shown a copy of the first marriage to have taken place in the Chapel in 1631, details of which had needed to be further registered at that time in their old Walton on the Hill Parish record which has longtime ceased to exist.
